The Passé, Futile and Uncool.

This year, it appears that practically everyone is going on and on about how passé, futile and uncool New Year’s resolutions are. But I’m going to keep doing it because they work to my advantage; when I see my goals, I work harder towards them. But hey, that’s just me.

2010 New Year’s Resolutions

1. Read more books.
2. Quit a certain bad habit.
3. Love myself more.
4. Save up.
5. Don’t wait another 2 years for my next vacation.
6. Sleep and exercise more.
7. Eat and drink healthier.
8. Try more new things.
9. Cook and bake more.
10. Work towards settling down.

Last year, I’ve fulfilled 7 out of 10 of my 2010 New Year’s resolutions. Not too shabby, eh?


2011 New Year’s Resolutions

1. Read more books.
2. Quit a certain bad habit.
3. Save up.
4. Win some awards for my work.
5. Go on more adventures, such as hiking.
6. Learn how to play Halo: Reach for Suffian.
7. Don’t be so hard on myself when it comes to work.
8. Be kinder. There’s not enough kindness in the world.
9. Stop letting people who don’t matter get to me.
10. Work towards starting a family.

Number 7 and 9 will be some of the toughest ones in this list. Good luck on your New Year’s resolutions, if you still do them.
